Answer:
"The principal said he is making an exception for me, Grandpa, and I'm getting the jacket after all."
Explanation:
First, sentences must always start with a capital letter. Second, it seems to me that the given sentence is a direct quotation from the speaker (grandson) since the pronoun used is in the first-person point of view (me, I'm). Hence, direct quotes must be enclosed with quotation marks (" "). The correct version of the given quote is as follows:
"The principal said he is making an exception for me, Grandpa, and I'm getting the jacket after all."

Animal Intelligence
Intelligence is defined as the ability to acquire and apply knowledge. Psychologists have exploited this concept in many ways to try and determine whether non-human animals are capable of intelligence.
From social learning it is logical to assume that, since no-human’s animals are able to both acquire and use new behaviors, they must be intelligent in some way. Heyse stated that there are 6 types of behavior which suggest intelligence. These are imitation, self-recognition, social relationship formation, role-taking, deception and perspective taking. These 6 behaviors are referred to as the theory of mind (Tome).
Imitation is the ability to copy another's behavior, show more content…
This gives a good basis to Tome as intelligence is required to recognize that the mirror image is not another individual. This behavior has been reported in the higher primates.
Gallup's study required chimpanzees to be placed in a cage with a mirror. At first, they reacted like the image was another chimp, but later realized that it was actually themselves. Gallup anaesthetized the chimpanzees then placed a red mark on one eyebrow and ear. After recovering, the chimpanzees would often touch the red mark, when they looked in the mirror. This supports the idea that higher-primates are capable of self-recognition. This experiment was tried out on other animals e.g. cats, dogs, and elephants with unsuccessful results.
The fact that no other animals responded to this experiment means that it cannot be said for sure that all non-human animals are capable of self-recognition. Therefore, some non-human animals do not show signs of Tome. Evolutionary science suggests that the higher primates are distant relatives of human beings, having similar physiology may mean that higher primates are more capable of intelligence.

Question 2 options:
Third Person - Limited
Second Person
Third Person - Omniscient
First Person
Answer:
Third Person - Omniscient
Explanation:
I have read an excerpt from the text, and it would appear to be Third Person - Omniscient. This is because the story is told from a perspective that is neither first or second. To differentiate between limited and omniscient, I was always told that omniscient views are like books being narrated by god. In this view, the reader knows what is going on while some other characters or people in the text,do not.

What is the summary of the hate you give chapter 2
Answer:
The chapter opens with Starr remembering the lecture Maverick gave her twelve-year-old self about how to act around police, right around when her mother, Lisa, gave Starr the sex talk. Maverick told Starr to do whatever the police tell her, keep her hands visible, not make sudden moves, and only speak when spoken to.
Khalil pulls the car over. When the police officer asks him for identification, Khalil demands to know the reason for the stop. Starr remembers Maverick’s instructions to make note of the cop’s appearance and badge number. His badge number is one-fifteen, and Starr continues to refer to him by this number. One-Fifteen asks where they came from, but Khalil insists that it is none of One-Fifteen’s business. Starr panics and realizes that Khalil did not get the police talk from a parent. One-Fifteen tells Khalil that his tail light is broken. Khalil continues to complain, and One-Fifteen forces him to get out of the car.
One-Fifteen searches Khalil, presumably for drugs, but finds nothing. As he heads back to his car, One-Fifteen warns Khalil and Starr not to move. However, while One-Fifteen walks away, Khalil opens the car door so that he can check on Starr. One-Fifteen shoots Khalil. Starr jumps out of the car to check on Khalil, only to have One-Fifteen point his gun at her.
The chapter highlights Starr's internal struggle to balance her two worlds, Garden Heights and Williamson Prep, as well as the pressure she feels to conform to different expectations in each environment. This is the summary.
In "The Hate U Give," Starr Carter, the main character, talks about her upbringing in Garden Heights, a largely black area infamous for its gang violence and destitution. She talks about how her father tried to keep her and her brothers safe by teaching them the essential skills they would need to survive in their neighbourhood, like how to behave around police officers and the value of code-switching. Starr also introduces Maya and Hailey, her two closest friends, who go to a private school in the suburbs and are very different from her in terms of their demeanour and appearance.

What inference can be made about both rich landowners and pig farmers, based on this excerpt? They often ran out of food supplies before the end of winter came. They were the only food suppliers for Elizabethan England all year long. They cared more about making a profit than charging fair prices. They made little profit from the food they supplied to their communities.
We can underestimate that wealthy landowners and pig farmers were more concerned with making a profit than charging fair prices, as shown in the third answer option.
We can arrive at this answer because:
The text shows that landowners guarded their goods, hoping that prices for these products would increase. The pig farmers also kept all the bacon, hoping the price would go up a lot. They did this because they didn't want to sell these products at a fair and reasonable price, but at very high prices that would encourage profit. This happened when demand for these products increased but supply was low.Through questions similar to yours, we can find the text to which your question refers. can you use carbon dating to determine the age of a dinosaur
Answer:
(Hope this helps can I pls have brainlist (crown)☺️)
Explanation:
Carbon-14 dating is the most well-known type of radiometric dating. Carbon-14 dating, on the other hand, will not work on dinosaur bones. Because carbon-14 has a short half-life of 5,730 years, it can only be used to date materials that are less than 50,000 years old.
Radiometric dating, often known as radioactive dating, is the primary method used to determine the age of fossils nowadays. The characteristics of isotopes are used in radiometric dating. These are chemical elements that are identical but for one feature: the number of neutrons in their nucleus, such as carbon or uranium.
Dinosaur bones, on the other hand, have been there for millions of years, and some fossils have been around for billions of years. Scientists require an isotope with a long half-life to ascertain the ages of these specimens. Uranium-238, uranium-235, and potassium-40 are some of the isotopes utilised for this, each with a half-life of more than a million years.pls
