Why is it so difficult to make a flying car?

Answers

Answer 1
There are actually quite a few reasons. Number one reason is weight, cars weight a lot and so you have to have enough thrust to make it to where it can fly which means bigger engine and it just doesn’t work on a car. Second, cost. The cost in trying to make a small enough but powerful enough winging just isn’t possible. You could always go with a drone style car in which a couple companies have actually twins and have made working models.

Answers

Answer:

Me: Sister, I don't believe it's a smart idea for you to leave college.

Sister: Why not? I've always wanted to be an actress and college sucks.

Me: Well, what if you don't get any roles? You would've have left college and not received a degree so you will find a hard time getting a job.

Sister: Well that is a good point but college is horrible.

Me: Maybe you don't need to be in this college. You could come home and do community college which is super flexible and you will also be able to pursue acting and also get a degree. Or maybe you could change your major so you can find a career that allows you to work in the acting field.

Sister: Hmmm like a director or a producer?

Me: Yeah! There are a bunch of directors that act in their own movies.

Sister: Thanks for telling me all this, I'm really considering your suggestions!

“I know!” says Ms. Gervis. “It is wrong that someone has stolen from me!”

The detective looks around Ms. Gervis’ apartment. “That is not what I am talking about, ma’am. What is wrong is that I do not understand how the robber got in and out.”

Ms. Gervis and the detective stand in silence. Ms. Gervis’ eyes are full of tears. Her hands are shaking.

“The robber did not come through the window,” says the detective. “These windows have not been opened or shut in months.”

The detective looks at the fireplace. “The robber did not squeeze down here.”

The detective walks to the front door. He examines the latch. “And since there are no marks or scratches, the robber DEFINITELY did not try to break the lock.”

“I have no idea how he did it,” says a bothered Ms. Gervis. “It is a big MYSTERY.”

“And you say the robber stole nothing else?” asks the detective. “No money, no jewelry, no crystal?”

“That’s right, detective. He took only what was important to me,” Ms. Gervis says with a sigh. “There is only one thing I can do now.”

“And what is that?” the detective asks with surprise.

“I will stop baking cakes,” Ms. Gervis says. “They are mine to give away. They are not for someone to steal.”

“You can’t do that!” says the detective with ALARM. “Who will bake those delicious cakes?”

“I am sorry. I do not know,” says Ms. Gervis.

When we only see one aspect of their personality, a character is considered to be
A. Flat
B.round
C.static

Answers

Answer:

The character should be flat.

Explanation:

Explanation:Thats hard because blaintly.. its none of them. A round character is a character that change a lot during the story and may suprise the reader by completely changing who they are while flat characters are basically uncomplicated and barely change through the book/poem. A dynamic character is basically the same as a round character, they usually change perspective or how they feel about something by the end of the poem/book. A static character is also like a flat character, they don't undergo any significant change in the story. If I had to guess it would be C. dynamic character. I would choose this because sometimes you think you might know this dynamic character and their traits but they will completely suprise you and change.

Nothing, it's fine as is, is missing from the following thesis statement. As Scott Fitzgerald's novel, The Great Gatsby, explores the depths of a man of questionable integrity. Hence, option A is correct.

What is the concept of the passage?

The American Dream is unquestionably one of the many dreams that The Great Gatsby suggests. Another significant and provocative theme in the book is the demise of the romantic love dream, which fits into the greater framework of the American dream.

The majority of The Great Gatsby seems to be devoted to Gatsby's desire of love, although his love seems to be largely unimportant, irrational, and an impossible ideal. In other words, Gatsby's romantic fantasies represent the demise of romantic love.

Thus, Nothing, it's fine as is, is missing from the following thesis statement.

Which of the following need in-text and Works Cited citations if you use them in your essay?

A. Summaries, quotes, and paraphrases

B. Only direct quotes

C. Quotes and paraphrases

D. Summaries and paraphrases

Please i need help with this :) thanks

Answers

Answer:

c. quotes and paraphrases

Explanation:

For different kinds of material in an essay, works cited and in-text citations are both required. Summaries, quotations, and paraphrases fall under this category. So, A is the right response.

Quotes, summaries, and paraphrases. It's crucial to give due credit to the original author of a summary by adding both an in-text reference and a corresponding item in the Works Cited section. Quotes, which are exact words or phrases taken directly from a source, follow the same rules.

Citations are also necessary for paraphrases, which are just restatements of another person's thoughts in your own words. You would include an in-text reference like (Smith) and a Works Cited item for Jane Smith's article, for instance, if you were summarizing one of her articles.

The quote marks around the sentence, an in-text citation such as (Smith), and a Works Cited entry are all required when quoting from an article. To avoid plagiarism and properly credit the original sources, always use proper citations. So the correct option is A.
